Current and Future Regulation of Gambling in Switzerland and in the European Union: How Much Room for Advertising?
La contribution a pour objet une comparaison entre la réglementation des jeux de hasard en Suisse et au sein de l’Union européenne (UE). Dans ce contexte, une attention spéciale sera accordée à la question de la publicité pour les jeux autorisés. Une telle comparaison est intéressante à plusieurs points de vue. Premièrement, ces deux territoires entretiennent une relation particulière avec les jeux de hasard. Deuxièmement, ils connaissent divers problèmes liés à leur structure. Troisièmement, ils se caractérisent par une relation d’inter-dépendance. De même, l’UE s’est souvent inspirée du système suisse dans son activité. Finalement, les réglementations de ces deux territoires sont toutes deux en cours de révision.
