Les actes de séminaire issus d’un comité d’experts suisses et sud-africains (Daniel Kraus, Tony Bunn, Michelle Mulder, Beatrice Stirner) réunissent onze contributions examinant différents thèmes en relation avec la médecine traditionnelle. L’accent est porté sur des questions de propriété intellectuelle, en particulier sur celles en rapport avec la protection par un brevet. Le thème central est complété par des contributions sur des problèmes douaniers et d’entraves aux échanges commerciaux, de financement, d’accès au marché et de conditions à remplir pour l’exercice indépendant de la médecine traditionnelle.
