The Swiss Penal Code will in the near future be amended in order to allow criminal sentences against corporations. Combined with other recent reform legistation (money laundering, forfeiture and corruption), enterprises are faced with massive new financial risks. The attempt to minimize these new risks will lead to the increased bureaucratisation of the economy.
