Coca-Cola antitrust case: the Swiss way
On December 6, 2004, the Swiss Competition Commission rendered a crucial decision in a case involving the Coca-Cola Company («TCCC») and its distributor in Switzerland, Feldschlösschen Getränke Holding AG («Feldschlösschen»). After a four-year long investigation, the Swiss authority considered that TCCC´s behavior did not violate Swiss antitrust provisions. Hence, this Swiss decision does not mirror the undertakings imposed upon TCCC by the European Commission in a similar case at EU level (case n° COMP/39.116).
