Dr. Georg Schürmann (LDP) ist in stiller Volkswahl bis zum Ablauf der laufenden Amtsdauer am 31. Dezember 2021 als Nachfolger der zurückgetretenen Dr. Fabia Beurret-Flück (LDP) zum Zivilgerichtspräsidenten gewählt worden. Er war bisher als selbständiger Anwalt tätig und tritt sein Amt am 1. August 2018 an.
