Management of the Proceedings and Quality Control under the Swiss Rules
Institutonial arbitration seeks to achieve various, sometimes conflicting goals. The Swiss Rules attempt to do this by a carefully balanced management and quality control of the proceedings. This article explains how the Swiss Rules achieve this goal, based on twenty-five steps (a - y) in the five phases of an international arbitration, from the initiation of the arbitration to an enforceable award.
