Maria Price is an experienced international expert in EU and international transport legislation, policy development and railway law. With over 15 years of experience across key international and European institutions and organizations – including OTIF, UIP, EIM, and the European Commission – she has contributed to regulation development, EU project evaluation, research and innovation, negotiation and stakeholders’ representation, coordination of and participation in expert groups on technical, economic and safety related topics, as well as publication contributions to papers and articles in industry journals. She holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford on high-speed rail development in Southwest Europe, along with degrees in international law and diplomacy, and executive certificates from MIT Sloan School of Management on Digital Business Strategy, Cybersecurity Governance, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. Dr. Price is currently pursuing an LLM in Technology, Media and Communications Law at Queen Mary University of London.
